Department 22, Section 4, Class: Select based on grade

1. The main part of each entry must be a pumpkin or a member of the pumpkin family.
2. Pumpkins may not be carved or hollowed out and no larger than 2’x2’x2’.
3. Objects, paper and materials of any kind may be pinned or glued to pumpkins. Participants may also draw or paint on their entries or dress them up. Again, DO NOT carve or hollow out your pumpkin.
4. No electrical devices (including batteries) or candles may be used as part of any entry.
5. Each entry must have a title.
6. All participants should write their name, grade and homeroom teacher on the BOTTOM of the pumpkin in a permanent marker.                                                                    7. There is to be minimal parental help decorating the pumpkin.
8. No pre-purchased, pre-decorated pumpkins will be allowed to enter the contest.
9. One entry per student only.
10. Pumpkins, objects and materials used to decorate pumpkins may not be reclaimed until after the contest, under any circumstances.
11. The Harmony Grange, Clearfield Farm Bureau, or PSU Master Gardeners reserve the right to dispose of any pumpkin that starts to rot during the contest period.
12. Pumpkins shall be picked up on Sunday Sept 27 th during entry pick-up designated time at the Fair or prior arrangements for pumpkins to be picked up and taken back to school for Monday pick-up. Pumpkins left after pick-up time will be disposed of.
13. Judging will be based on: originality, creative use of inexpensive materials , quality of the work, suitability of the title, and quality of the work in light of the participant’s age

Motorsports can be dangerous, please participate in this competition based on your own assessment of your abilities.
If you have not personally inspected the track, we urge you to do so. You are responsible for the quality and condition of your ATV and protective apparel.
All persons entering the grounds for any reason must sign a release form.
ATV/UTV are to remain parked, you will have 3 mins to line up once class is called.
All drivers must attend the drivers meeting. No late entries
It’s the responsibility of the rider to attend the drivers meeting, and ask about any new/changed rules
All classes are double elimination. After first race you will return to winner or loser lane. Next race will begin after everyone races their first run.

Lights are NOT predictable; if participant jumps the starting line, a red light will show and competitor receives an automatic loss.
Dirt bikes are recommended to have a disc in the front wheel to detect laser

MINI CLASS RULES
Rider must be within the age catregory and can control atv/bike
Tether switches are recommended but not required
If the bike/atv has apex, pister pro or a similar factory race bike they will not be allowed to race in stock but can race in modified

MODIFIED CLASS RULES
Engine must be original with a stock head. Absolutely NO TURBO. You may have any size of valve, piston, carburetor.                Cams, modified clutch, and porting are all allowed
No restriction for exhaust, drag pipes are allowed. No restrictions on Ignition.
Tether switches are not required, but recommended                                                      No restrictions on air filters, box is not required
Nitrous is not allowed and must be disconnected. Any other fuel is allowed.
Must have functioning back brakes Wheelie bars are permitted.
Tie down suspension is not allowed. Strut and extended swing arms are allowed except you must use factory mounting points or can run off “A” arms
No restrictions on chains, sprockets or tires except no ice screws/studs.
All competitors must wear a helmet and eye protection (eyeglasses, goggles, etc..) Closed toe shoes, long pants and shirt(no tank tops) are required.
Frames are allowed to have modification except no drag frames or extended frames. Measurements must be stock length from swing arm bolt to rear “A” arm mount.

SUPER MODIFIED CLASS RULES
Any engine or exhaust modification is permitted.
No restrictions on airbox, filter, ignition, or chain/sprockets.
Nitrous fuel is permitted!
Rear brakes are required; front brakes are recommended. Wheelie bars are allowed.
Tie down suspension is prohibited! Any other modification is allowed if it is safe to the tech personnel.
No studs or screws for tires/wheels.
Tether switches are NOT required but recommended.
All competitors must wear a helmet and eye protection (eyeglasses, goggles, etc..) Closed toe shoes/boots, long pants and shirt (no tank tops) are required.
Frame modifications are allowed as long as they are considered safe. Please reach out to track staff is you have any questions on safety.

3.5 mph speed limit in all stock tractor classes. 1 sound of horn in 75 ft, 2nd sound of horn is a disqualification (DQ).
If running antique & stock classes -hitch 8 inches from PTO or 11 inches from rear housing if not PTO equipped
No tractor equipped with duel wheels or four wheel drives permitted.
Weight includes driver. No weight or driver change after weigh-in.
Tractors may be entered in two (2) classes only. And only once in each class
Drawbar height will be 18 inch for Stock antique & 20 inch for the Open antique tractors
Maximum tire size permitted will be 18×38 unless factory equipped with a larger size, no cut or shaved tires or chains permitted.
Drawbar height will be checked by a member of the fair immediately prior to making the pull.
Tractors may be rechecked after pull is made.
Tractors will be weighed prior to making pull. All weights must be securely fastened.
No jerking allowed.
No tractors equipped with automobile or truck engines will be permitted to compete in the contest. Also NO TURBOS in contest.
Any tractor NOT CONFORMING can pull in the OPEN ANTIQUE classes.

STOCK TRACTOR RULES
1960 and UP STOCK TRACTORS – NONE PRIOR TO 1960
Premiums will be $50.00, $40.00, $30.00, $20.00, $10.00 per class.
Entry Fee will be $10.00 per class. Admits driver & tractor. Pit passes:$10.00 per person.

1. CLASSES: A. 6500 # B. 7500 # C. 9500#  D. 11500# E. 13500# F. 15500#
HOT STOCK CLASSES: This class is for tractors not conforming to the Stock Class
rules. Classes will be G. 9500#, H. 11500#  and I. 13500#
King of the Hill class is no restriction, winner takes all exhibition pull.

Contest is open to farm tractors with rubber tires. No four wheel drives allowed. No dual tires, tires with studs or chains permitted. (Except for King of the hill class)
Each tractor may be entered in no more than 2 classes and only once in each class.
Contestants will be drawn by lottery for pulling positions in each class.
SAFETY AND ELIGIBILITY OF TRACTOR
No pressurized tanks allowed except LP gas. No oxygen allowed. Refuel only cool engines
Drawbar height will be 18 inches for Farm Stock Tractors & 20 inches for Hot Stock Tractors.
Drawbar will be checked by a member of the committee immediately prior to making a pull.
Tractors will be checked after the pull is made, if there is any question of rule violation. (Weight and drawbar height.)
Tractors will be weighed prior to making a pull, on portable scales on the grounds.
Following pulls, each tractor will be reweighed immediately.
There will be no leeway. Nothing over the weight of the class.
No tampering with hydraulic control of drawbar while pulling.
Once sled is in motion, front wheels must stabilize at no more than 18 to 20” off the ground.
Tractors must be fully intact to be eligible to pull. Only the operator on any tractor.
Tractors must maintain clear access to hitch.
No tires larger than 20” in all classes.
Remote kill required in Hot Stock Farm Class. Driver may be asked to operate kill switch for
proper operation. Helmet required in Hot Stock Farm Class.

OPERATION OF CONTEST
Officials may run any combination of classes.
All sanctioned tractor pulls must use an authorized weight transfer device.
Use of torque converters, automatic shifts, etc. will be permitted during the pull.
Operators must remain in their seats during the pull and must have complete control of the tractor at all times.
All pulls must start with a tight hitch. No jerking permitted.
Tractors must be stopped immediately upon signal from the judge.
Tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times.
Tractors and skids must remain within boundaries of the contest course during the pull or disqualification will result.
Only one pull will be allowed to each contestant per class unless a tie is declared.
The pull will be considered over when forward motion of load stops.
No off-brand engines permitted.
Once the pull starts, no more entries will be accepted.
Contestants must be positioned to pull with 5 minutes of name being called.
If puller makes a wrong gear selection, as long as he stops before the sled reaches the 75-ft.
marker, he may have one restart.
The judges shall hold hole digging to a minimum

SAFETY PRACTICE TO BE ENFORCED
Keep in mind the safety of the crowd and yourself when operating your machine. All tractors
equipped with PTO should have shield in place.
No sharp turns, excessive speed or other unsafe acts.

4×4 TRUCK PULLING RULES
CLASSES
Small Block HO 6200 lb.
Stock Diesel 8500 lb.
Hot Stock Diesel 8500 lb.
Big Block HO 6500 lb.
Modified Diesel 8000 lb.

GENERAL RULES
These rules apply to all vehicles in all classes.
Entry Fee: $20.00 – Admits Driver and truck. Pit Pass $15.00.
1. All classes require a minimum of 5 pullers. Officials may run any combination of classes.
2. Pulling or tow vehicles must be operated in a safe manner at all times.
3. All drivers must wear shirt, pants and shoes in competition. Seat belts are recommended.
4. All weights must be securely fastened. No weights permitted in cab, under hood, no loose ballast or bags (unless confined in bed). Any loss of weight is automatic termination of pull
5. Vehicle must start and stop on signal of track judge. No use of rear view mirror, (Pull considered over when forward motion stops.)
Violators will be disqualified.
6. All vehicles must weigh in and pass safety inspection. A 2 1/2 lb. minimum fire extinguisher required. (Track judge reserves right to reweigh any pulling vehicle.) ALL weights must be adjusted while on the scales.
7. No one is allowed on track except Track Officials, Judges and Contestants.
8. No one other than driver permitted in vehicle while vehicle is pulling. No pit crew member permitted on track except to start vehicle and get it hooked to sled.
9. Vehicle must start with tight hitch. No jerking or working of clutch after pull is started. Any violation will be disqualified.
10. Vehicle and sled must remain in boundaries during pull. Any attempt to move sled is considered measurable.
11. Contestant must pull in assigned position and within 3 minutes of sled spotting. (Track official to determine position change if necessary.)
12. Entries close at start of class, unless due to traffic hold-up.
13. First puller is test puller with option to repull in 3rd position. All decisions on repull must be made before vehicle leaves track with judge’s approval. Any disqualification on 1st pull bars 2nd attempt. During pull-off only one attempt is allowed to make measurable pull.
14. JUDGES DECISION FINAL IN ALL CASES. ANY ARGUMENT WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND IMMEDIATE EJECTION FROM THE PREMISES!
15. Rain Out:
(A) During pull, any class not completed will be treated as a rain out. If class must be canceled
after 2/3 of entries have pulled; purse for class must be paid.
(B) Pulling session can be called complete if 1/2 of advertised classes are completed. We
reserve the right to reschedule.
16. If open top, roll bar and helmet with face shield required. All vehicles must have windshield.
17. All vehicles while being hitched and unhitched will be in park (automatic) or neutral (Standard) with driver’s hands in the air.
18. Excessive loss of liquid on track or loss of parts is cause for disqualification.
19. All vehicles with state inspection will pull in only one class.
20. All vehicles must have working suspension – minimum 3 spring ply
21. Must be 16 or older to enter any class.
22. NO chain hitches. Hitch must be rigid in all directions. Hitch height -26”.
23. Stacks must have crossbolts no more than 2-3/8 inch apart within 6 inches of turbo

HIGH OUTPUT TRUCKS
Small Block 412 C.I. and less 6200 lb.
Big Block 413 C.I. and up 6500 lb.
Premiums: 1st – $125.00, 2nd – $85.00, 3rd – $70.00, 4th – $40.00, 5th – $30.00
General rules apply.
1. No frame alterations.
2. Limit to (1) four-barrel carburetor. High rise manifold allowed. No tunnel rams. Factory fuel injection and turbo charges allowed.
3. Must have fan shroud.
4. Headers allowed with mufflers, or must run at least 6 ft. of exhaust system.
5. Pump gas only.
6. Suspension blocking allowed.
7. Internal engine changes permitted.
8. POSI or welded front ends allowed.
9. Hook height – 26”. Point of break to center of axle should not be less than 27% of wheelbase.
10. No wider than 10 inch rim. Tread width not to exceed 12”.                                                 11. Engine must be same as manufactured chassis.
12. Weight bracket allowed. Weights can be no further than 60” from center of front axle.
13. D.O.T. tires only. Cut tires allowed.
14. Suspension must have a minimum of 2 inches of travel.

MODIFIED DIESEL
Class will be 8000 lbs.
Premiums: 1st – $250.00, 2nd – $150.00, 3rd – $100.00, 4th – $75.00, 5 – $50.00
1. Front-end weights are allowed.
2. Block suspension is allowed.
3. Tech officials will check hitch height.
4. All trucks must have a cross-bolted exhaust. Any truck with a hood stack will be in the Modified Diesel class.

STOCK DIESEL
Classes will be 8500 lb.
Premiums: 1st – $100.00, 2nd – $75.00, 3rd – $50.00
All trucks competing in this class must:
• Be stock appearing and the floor in bed must be solid.
• Be powered by the OEM diesel engine for the make and model year of the truck.
• Must have current license, registration, inspection, and insurance card.
• Must have factory manufactured wheel base
• Must be available for under hood inspection.
1. Diesel fuel only in diesel trucks. (No water injection, alcohol, propane or nitrous. (Nitrous bottle must be removed, if so equipped)
2. No studded, cut, or grooved tires or any other tires not intended for street use. No tire chains.
Tires must have stamped D.O.T number on sidewall and be a maximum height of 35”.
3. All added weight must be placed inside of truck bed and secured to prevent weight from sliding
around in truck bed. No weight brackets, boxes and hanging weights. NO weights allowed in cab.
4. Original front and rear axles must be used: raising or lowering of truck height with suspension modifications is permitted.
5. A fully functional front and rear suspension is required. No blocking suspension traction stabilizer bars, spring- clamps, or locking of springs is allowed.
6. Front and rear bumpers must remain unaltered and in their factory position. No home manufactured bumpers allowed. Snowplow frames and brush guards are allowed. Tailgate or cargo net must be in place.
7. The hitch point must be from OEM Factory style receiver hitch, mounted in the factory designed position. ABSOLUTELY no other high designs are permitted. Maximum hitch point allowance is 26”from top of hitch of level ground. Hitch must be rigid in all directions, NO trick hitches allowed. Pulling ring must have a 3” by 3 3/4” opening. No vertical hitch or opening.
Hitch hook point must be their furthest point to the back of the truck, (or the first thing to hit if you backed into a wall!!)
8. Receiver hitch MUST be in place on truck at scale weigh-in.
9. Clutch, transmission, drive shafts and all drive line must be OEM for make/model of truck.
10. Any computer programmer or chip is permitted. Air cleaner and components required.
11. Factory turbo only: NO spacers, NO adapters, NO turbo alterations, PERIOD!
12. ABSOLUTELY no engine modifications are allowed!
13. ABC FIRE EXTINGUISHER (minimum 21/21LBS) must be located in cab within reach of driver. Seat belt and helmet must be used when pulling.
14. Suspension must have a minimum of 2 inches of travel.
15. All trucks must have a cross-bolted exhaust. Any truck with a hood stack will be in the Modified Diesel class.

HOT STOCK DIESEL
Classes will be 8500 lbs.
Premiums: 1st – $125.00, 2nd – $85.00, 3rd – $70.00, 4th – $40.00, 5th – $30.00
General rules apply.
1. Street tires only.
2. Front – end weights are allowed.
3. Traction bars.
4. Block suspension.
5. No ether, alcohol, water, nitrous, propane or other liquid or combustible material may be injected into the turbo-charger or any part of the air intake system. Any ether kit must be disconnected.
6. Hitch height 26”
7. A single turbo- charger is the maximum permitted.
8. Twin turbo only if factory installed.
9. NO Exposed Duals.
10. All trucks must have a cross-bolted exhaust. Any truck with a hood stack will be in the Modified Diesel class.

Winner of each weight bracket will then be able to compete at the Western PA Pedal Tractor Pull Championship at Ox Hill Fairgrounds on October 10th

Gas Showroom Trucks

Small Block 412 C. 1. & less 6500 lb.
Big Block 413 C.1. & up 6800 lb.

General rules apply.
1. Two add on or modification is allowed. Add on being – aluminum intake – headers – Holley
carburetor.
2. Rough idle will be considered a modification.
3. Vehicle should look and sound like an every day driver.
4. Inspection and license necessary, owner’s card and insurance card may be asked for to verify legality of vehicle.
5. DOT tires only – cut tires allowed – tread can be no deeper than original tread.
6. Must pull off of bumper or Reese hitch – hitch point must be rear most part of vehicle.
7. Hitch point can be no higher than frame.
8. No heavy front bumpers or hang weights. Snow plow rigging allowed.
9. Weights can be put in bed – none in cab.
10. No weights under hood. This will be checked before, during and after class is pulled.
11. POSI-traction carriers allowed. No welded carriers or spools permitted in front rear.
12. Compression ratio should be no higher than year of truck being pulled.
13. 10-inch wide rim allowed. 12 inch tread width.
14. Any truck towed or hauled into pull will not pull in showroom class. Vehicle must enter arena under its own power.
15. A fully functional front and rear suspension is required. No blocking suspension traction stabilizer
bars, spring- clamps, or locking of springs is allowed.
16. Suspension must have a minimum of 2 inches of travel

BIG TRUCK PULL RULES
STOCK SEMIS, TRI-AXLES, TOW TRUCK, MISC. (WATER/GARBAGE) & OPEN SEMIS
Premiums for Stock Semis & Tri-Axles: 1st $125.00, 2nd $85.00, 3rd $70.00, 4th $40.00, 5th $30.00

Premiums for Open Class: 1st $250.00, 2nd $200.00, 3rd $150.00, 4th $100.00, 5th $50.00
Entry Fee: $25.00 admits truck and driver. Pit Pass $15.00.

1. All rules apply to all trucks in all classes.
2. All classes will require a minimum of 5 pullers.
3. If minimum trucks are not met for a class, those trucks will pull with purse being determined by 100% payback of those pulling that class-winner take all.
4. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED ON PREMISES BY ANYONE! ANYONE FOUND WITH ALCOHOL IN THEIR POSSESSION BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THIS EVENT, WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND FORFEIT ANY PREMIUM WON AND IMMEDIATELY
EJECTED FROM THE PREMISES!
5. All trucks must pass a safety and tech inspection. A 2-1/2 lb. Fire extinguisher required.
6. Truck and engine must be FACTORY STOCK otherwise they will be put into the Open class.
7. Any truck felt not to be factory stock during the pull would be disqualified with NO refund for the stock class. The truck may enter the open class with proper hitch fee paid.
8. Truck must have affixed a current license plate of the state of registration and the owner / driver must furnish the current registration card and insurance card for the truck. The driver must have a current CDL license. These will all be required at the tech site.
9. The promoter of the event will provide the hitching device. This hitch will work from the fifth wheel only for Semis and from hooks (each side) for Tri-axles. Hitches will be placed in position and checked by officials just prior to the truck entering the track to pull.
It is the owner/driver’s responsibility to lock the fifth wheel hitch in place
10. The truck shall appear ‘road ready’. No added weight of ballast is permitted. Any added weight will disqualify the truck from the pull. Special trucks, such as oil field trucks that carry additional weight that is not normally found on a ‘road ready’ truck are not permitted in any class.
11. Chaining or blocking of drive axles is NOT permitted.
12. A single turbo-charger is the maximum permitted, unless factory installed.
13. No ether, alcohol, water, nitrous, propane or other liquid or combustible material may be injected into the turbo-charger or any part of the air intake system. Any ether kit must be disconnected.
14. No riders are permitted in the truck.
15. Driver must wear  seatbelt during the pull.
16. Driver may not leave the driver’s seat while vehicle is on the pulling track.
17. Driver will take all direction from the flagman on the track.
18. ALL DRIVERS MUST SIGN THE WAIVER FORM AND WEAR AN OFFICIAL WRISTBAND.
19. Puller must register, pay all prevailing hook fees and attend the drivers meeting prior to hooking to the weight transfer machine.
20. 2 Drivers per truck will be allowed in the contest. Both drivers must meet hitch fees.
21. Contest to be operated in the same fashion as the other pulling classes in that session.
22. Judges decision to be final in all cases. Any argument will result in disqualification and immediate ejection from the premises.
23. Truck must start with a tight hitch, no jerking or working of clutch after pull is started. Any violation will be disqualified.
24. No one is allowed on track except Track Officials, Judges and Contestants.
25. No one other than the driver permitted in the truck while it is pulling.
26. Truck and sled must remain in boundaries during pull. Any attempt to move sled is considered measurable.
27. Contestant must pull in assigned position, and within 3 minutes of sled spotting. (Track Official to determine position change if necessary.)
28. First puller is test puller with option to repull in third position. All decisions on repull must be made before truck leaves track with judge’s approval. Any disqualification’s on first pull bars second attempt. During pull-off only one attempt is allowed to make measurable pull.
29. Each puller may use the 75’ mark on the first attempt failure to reach that point shall entitle the puller to an immediate re-hook.
30. If all other weight transfer techniques fail to produce a winner in the pull-off, the chain may be lengthened at the option of the director of the pull.
31. Judges decision is final in all cases. Any Argument will result in DQ and immediate ejection from the premises!
32. Entries close at 6:30pm, unless due to traffic hold up.
33. All Trucks must use state road 3014 off of route 219 , it will be the only road bonded for the night.
